8(a) STARS III is a multiple-award, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract designed to provide technology solutions to Federal government agencies from exceptionally qualified SBA certified 8(a) small businesses. It provides agencies with an easy-to-use, streamlined vehicle to purchase information technology services and services-based solutions, both commercial and non-commercial, from 8(a) Prime contractors.  8(a) STARS III has increased focus on emerging technologies, over past contract iterations, and also allows for ancillary support to be included when integral to and necessary for information technology services.
